Facilities at Paradise Cove Resort.

The resort is quite laid back, and we find that most guests prefer the daily ‘beach attire’ of sarongs and swimwear for the women, and t-shirt and swimming trunks for the men.

More often than not, you will find that you forget altogether about your shoes, and go barefoot everywhere. But along with what to wear, we find below are the things that are important to know about:

The resort has a central swimming pool and a beachside bar located in front of the restaurant.
Along with two other swimming pools, the Boat Bar, and our Tapas and Japanese restaurant "Donu" located in The Cove.
The beautiful white sand beach is all tide swimming.
There are also plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for guest to use around the pool, and on the beach in front of the restaurant.
The Beachfront Villas have their private sun loungers, and umbrellas located on the beach.
There is also our PADI dive shop where you can arrange diving, game fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling equipment, and many of our exciting day trips and adventure activities.
With an air-conditioned Gym, Kids Club, Teen Tent, and a full Day Spa offering fantastic spa treatments seven days a week, the resort has something for everyone.
All villas from The Cove category and above, get their very own Mei Mei Mama, with 4 hours per day complimentary babysitting per day, additional hours are $20 per hour. For our Bungalow Guests its a flat $20 per day for 4 hours and $20 per addtional hour. This service is available from 8am - 9pm daily.

The Paradise Teen Yurt

Every Pre Teen and older needs a special teens-only area to hang out - play games - Xbox - escape the sun and let's face it, even Mum and Dad!

Mei Mei Mama Nanny Service

We offer a dedicated complimentary four hour per day babysitting service, for our Cove Villa and above room categories, with each addtional hour at $20 per hour.

For our Bungalow guests its a flat $20 per day for the 1st four hours, and $20 per hour for any additional hours.

You can schedule your time between 9am and 9pm, we recommend planning each days needs at least 24 hours ahead to avoid disappointment.

Gym

If you enjoy having an early morning workout or just the chance to sneak away for an hour in the gym, Paradise introduces the newly completed Gym. Complete with weights area, state of the art exercise equipment, air conditioning, and Yoga deck, what are you waiting for.

Resort Information

AIR CONDITIONING:

All guest rooms are fully air-conditioned.

ELECTRICITY:

Fiji runs off the same voltage as Australia and New Zealand – 220 to 240 volts.

SAFES:

All the rooms have personal safes.

DAILY ROOM SERVICE:

The lovely housekeeping ladies will be attending to your villa between 10 am and 4 pm daily to refresh your room for you – to make sure you have everything that you need, and ensure another comfortable day and night's sleep for you. Please do feel free to let them know if you require anything extra, and you will find that they are only too happy to help.

BOUTIQUE:

The resort has a small boutique that offers the essentials – like toothbrushes, razors, and other toiletry items, just in case you forget them, and you can also find things like dresses, Fiji souvenirs, postcards, and resort hats and apparel.

DINING:

The Black Rock restaurant hosts breakfast, your a la carte lunches, and also your evening meals. The dress code is resort casual for breakfast, beachwear is fine for lunch, ( please no bare-chested gentlemen in the dining room), resort casual is excellent for the evening, and some, why not dress up for dinner? As the team offers exceptional dining and 5-star service, you will be treated to a serene ambiance with candlelit tables, an extensive wine list, and menus to tempt the most sophisticated palettes.

MINI BAR IN ROOMS:

We offer a complimentary stocked mini bar once only on arrival for our guests staying in the Cove Villas, 2 Bedroom Villas, 1 Bedroom Beach Front Villas, all Beach Houses, and the Paradise Suites. This is stocked on arrival once only. If you require these items to be replenished, all items incur a unit cost and any charges placed onto your room account:

LAUNDRY:

We do offer a wash and fold laundry service guests in The Cove and above room categories get one complimentary load per stay, and each addtional load is $25, just place the items you want washed in the basket provided. Laundry given today will be returned the following am.

WiFi:

The resort offers complimentary WiFi. There is WiFi in all the guest rooms, and in the restaurant, pool and bar area.

DRINKING WATER:

We do advise you to not drink the water from the taps in any villas as this is only filtered to 10 microns. However, extensive measures have been put in place to ensure that the water accessing the kitchen, bar, and restaurant is all filtered to drinking standards (1 Micron), and there is complimentary bottled water in your rooms.

BEACH TOWELS:

Are provided complimentary during your stay, and are available from the Dive shop. Just pop in and collect them on your way to the beach or pool. The beach houses have towels available in your room.

TEA AND COFFEE:

Are available in all Villas, Beach Houses, and Bungalows.

DAILY ROOM CHARGES:

All activities and beverage charges are placed onto your room account, and payable upon checkout. At the time of any bar purchase or booking an activity, you will be asked to sign a docket, as you can imagine, with all nationalities and accents, it can be easy to hear the incorrect room number, and you may be asked to pay for someone else’s pina colada, but this is not our intention, and you can help by signing and checking your bar tabs each day.

MONEY EXCHANGE:

The resort does not have an ATM or money withdrawal facility, so we do advise that if required, you organize your FJ$ when you arrive in Fiji at the airport. On checkout, you can use Visa and MasterCard, American Express and FJ$, and we are also happy to exchange Foreign currency for you if required.

BABYSITTING:

We offer 4 hours per day complimentary babysitting with one of our lovely mei mei mamas for guests in the cove villas or above, with each addtional hour costing $20. For our bungalow guests its a flat $20 per day for the 1st 4 hours and then $20 per hour after. The service is available between 8am - 9pm daily and needs to be booked the day prior to avoid disappointment.

RECEPTION HOURS:

Hours: 7:30am to 7:30pm

NO DRONE POLICY

The resort has chosen to enforce a ban on the use of Drones while at the resort. This is to protect the privacy of our guests. While we appreciate some operators may choose to contact the local Civil Aviation board to seek approval and a permit, the resort reserves the right to protect the privacy of not only the guests but the private property of the resort itself. We thank you for your understanding and for respecting the resort's policy.
